Gerald J Clericuzio, CLU®, ChFC®* Chairman, GA

Jerry Clericuzio entered the insurance industry immediately following his graduation from Vanderbilt University in 1971 and discharging his active duty obligation in the U.S. Army National Guard. With over 40 years of experience, he successfully built two brokerage operations for two major life insurance companies. He is responsible for agency growth and development and brokerage. Jerry has received numerous industry and company awards and has served as President of the local chapters of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors and the National Society of Financial Service Professionals.

David R. Alter, CLU®* Chief Executive Officer, GA

David R. Alter is the Chief Executive Officer of International Planning Alliance, LLC. As second generation business owner, he has been employed in this industry since 1981 and is currently responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s core operations. In addition, he spends a significant amount of time on the field assisting advisers on complex estate and business planning cases. He has pioneered the development of proprietary estate and business planning techniques, and is a specialist in the use of financial modeling for business and insurance situations. David received his Bachelor of Science, Summa cum Laude from Boston University, with a concentration in accounting, and later received a Chartered Life Underwriter designation through the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Anthony Campanile, LUTCF** Executive Vice President

Anthony became a Financial Representative with International Planning Alliance in June of 2008 after graduating from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Marketing. While attending Monmouth University, Anthony was a 3-time Northeast Conference Division I Golf Champion. He joined the IPA sales management team in February 2010 where he specializes in recruiting, developing, training, and mentoring of new agents. Anthony was then promoted to Executive Vice President in May 2015, where he supervises the Middle Management Team working to build and develop the entire company's distribution network. Anthony is Life and Health Insurance licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut and is Series 7 and Series 63 licensed and has obtained his Life Underwriter Training Counsel Fellow (LUTCF) designation in May 2013. He currently resides in Wayside, NJ with his wife Jessica and their daughter Adeline.

Mark D. Lowe, CFP, ChFC, CLU*** Senior Vice President, Investment Specialist

Mark has been providing conservative financial advice and insurance services to his clients since 1982. He is currently the Senior Vice President of International Planning Alliance, LLC and the Investment Specialist of the firm with offices in Fairfield and Shrewsbury, New Jersey.

Mark provides individuals, families and businesses with financial strategies for wealth accumulation and protections while aiming to minimize risk & lowering taxes. His mission is to educate and guide clients towards their maximum wealth, by helping them make intelligent money decisions. Mark helps his clients to enjoy their wealth over their lifetime with family and charities and still leave a legacy to their heirs.

Mark’s experience allows him to conduct seminars before medical associations, hospitals, unions, CPA Societies, corporate retiree groups, and large corporations; covering a wide variety of financial topics. He is the author of several articles on financial planning and has been a quest speaker on radio and television programs. He is a past President of the Central New Jersey Estate and Financial Planning Association. Mark is also a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, The National Committee on Planned Giving, and has been approved for registration in the National Football League Financial Advisors Program.

Howard A. Udoff RHU, CLTC** Senior Vice President of Brokerage

Howard attended the University of Maryland, and graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He joined The Paul Revere Insurance Group in 1979 as a Brokerage Representative. In 1982, Howard was appointed Sales Manager of the Richmond, VA office. His success in Richmond propelled his appointment to General Manager of the New Jersey Brokerage office in 1986. Howard’s responsibilities as General Manager were to oversee individual and group brokerage operations for the New Jersey territory. In 1996, Howard was appointed the General Manager of the combined Brokerage and Group office for New Jersey. He joined Guardian and Alter & Co, Inc., an agency of Guardian, on May 27, 1997 as Executive VP/Brokerage Director. He presently is responsible for overseeing all Disability and Long Term Care business for International Planning Alliance, LLC. Howard was an active member of the Newark Association of Life Underwriters, where he is a Past President. He has served as Secretary/Program Chair for the Northern New Jersey GAMA Associates (1992-93), and has moderated the LUTC course for 12 plus years. He is also a Founding Member of the International DI Society. Howard received his Registered Health Underwriters designation in 1987 and he is also certified by the Corporation for Long Term Care and holds CLTC designation since 2007. Howard has won the Elite Disability Specialist of the year award three out of four years, and he is a member of AHIA, NAHU and MDRT. He has qualified for Leaders Club every year since joining Guardian in 1997.

Howard resides in Roseland, New Jersey with his wife and has three grown sons. He enjoys tennis, biking and the outdoors.

Christine A. Cox-West, LUTCF**** Vice President

Christine Cox-West, LUTCF is the Vice President of International Planning Alliance and has been with IPA since 2011 after graduating from TCNJ. For the last 4 years she has managed a life and disability brokerage unit and in addition, is responsible for the agency growth and development of our Bloomfield location.
An avid networker, Christine is the past president of her BNI, past chair of the Young Professionals Committee of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) and is currently an Ambassador to the MCCC. She is passionate about the advancement of professionals in our industry and is an active NAIFA member, the President-Elect of the Society for Financial Service Professionals for Monmouth and Ocean County and is the incoming President of the WIFS North Jersey Gateway Chapter. In 2016, she was named in the top 150 Leading Women Entrepreneurs as an Intrapreneur. Christine enjoys spending time with her husband David, and their three children, Alexa Mikaela, Jack David and Axel James.

Steven Cucinelli, LUTCF** Senior Managing Director

Steve joined International Planning Alliance, LLC as a Financial Representative in 2007 after leaving a career in media relations in the United States Senate in Washington, D.C. Steve graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD with a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics. He joined IPA’s management team as a Managing Director in 2008. In his role as Managing Director Steve coaches and develops new college graduates and career changers to build successful financial services practices. His work with new Financial Representatives includes areas such as marketing, financial planning strategies, time management, goal setting, personal development and building and maintaining client relationships.
Steve is a multi-year qualifier for Guardian’s Presidential Citation Award. He maintains his Life and Health insurance licenses in New Jersey, New York, California, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Florida, Virginia & Washington, D.C. as well as his Series 7 license and holds a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. He has completed the General Agent and Managers Association (GAMA) Foundation prestigious workshops in Building the Right People and The Essentials of Leadership Development and is a graduate of GAMA’s Leading From the Front program. He & his wife Julia and daughter Reagan live in Middletown, New Jersey.

Kenneth Alter*** Managing Director

Kenneth Alter works in the advanced markets for financial, estate, business continuity, and executive benefits planning. As a third generation member of his family in the financial services field, Kenneth advises individuals, families, retirees, owners of closely-held companies, and hedge-fund/private equity investors on how to properly position risk on one's personal and/or business balance sheet. In addition, Kenneth serves as a technical resource to CPAs, property and casualty agents, attorneys, bankers, and other financial advisors looking to better serve their clients.

Kenneth is involved in various industry organizations, most notably as an ambassador for the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, which represents the life insurance industry and its clients on various tax, estate planning, and other benefits-related issues that come before the United States Congress and other governmental departments.

In his spare time, Kenneth enjoys spending time with family, attending the NY Philharmonic, and partaking in all that Broadway has to offer.

Brian Grande, FSCP*** Managing Director

Brian Grande joined International Planning Alliance in June of 2013 after graduating from Monmouth University. Brian became a Managing Director in January of 2016 to lead a team of Financial Representatives and continues to service clients with Wealth Accumulation, Management and Preservation. Brian resides in Manalapan, New Jersey and enjoys golf and skateboarding in his spare time. Brian is both Life and Health Insurance licensed as well as Securities Licensed with his Series 7 and Series 66.

Melanie Werling*** Agency Control Officer

Melanie has worked with International Planning Alliance, LLC for over 20 years. She has been our current Agency Control Officer for the past 5 years. Melanie currently works closely with our office to insure that all registered representatives comply with FINRA and SEC regulations. Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys spending time outdoors. She lives in Northern NJ with her husband Todd and their two sons, Jacob and Joshua.

Linda Bellofatto Director of Operations, Administrative Assistant to Gerald J. Clericuzio, CLU, ChFC, Chairman

Linda Bellofatto joined The Clericuzio Agency of The Guardian 20 years ago in Metro Park, NJ. Upon the merger and formation of International Planning Alliance, LLC, she remained Executive Assistant to Jerry Clericuzio. In addition, she took on the role of Director of Operations. This entails management of the office, human resources and handling of licensing. She has coordinated our office re-locations and our on-site and off-site functions. In addition she handles IPA’s Co-op Advertising and works closely with the Agency Growth and Development Team. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and resides in Bloomfield, NJ.

Erika Singer Recruiting and Marketing Coordinator

Erika became a Financial Representative with International Planning Alliance in February of 2013 after graduating from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. As a member of the Rutgers University Dance Team, Erika excelled as both an athlete and student, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Communication and a Minor in Dance. She joined the IPA sales management team in October 2014 and specializes in recruiting new agents while helping them develop individual marketing and social media strategies. Erika is Life and Health Insurance licensed in New Jersey and currently resides in Toms River, NJ.

Donna Matelski Associate Director of New Business

Donna started with Jerry Clericuzio 20 years ago at The Clericuzio Agency in Iselin, NJ. She was with Jerry for 10 years before the merger of International Planning Alliance, LLC. She works in the New Business Department handling all aspects of the underwriting process.

Meta DiPietro Director Of Sales & Marketing

Meta DiPietro was with The Clericuzio Agency prior to the merger of International Planning Alliance, LLC. She has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years. She specializes in advanced case design, intercompany competitive analysis, sales illustrations, marketing and sales promotions. Meta is licensed to sell Life and Health insurance in New Jersey. She and her family reside in Middletown, NJ.

Anju Sharma, CFA*** Agency Control Officer

Anju joined International Planning Alliance LLC as a Financial Specialist in 2010. She is a CFA® Charterholder and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses, along with life & health. Since 2011, as a co-ACO, she has been responsible for oversight and supervision of the Agency’s registered representatives and detached offices. Besides, she supervises information security, technology and business operations. Anju also provides financial advice to her business and individual clients. Anju has her Life and Health licenses as well as Series 6, 7, 24, 63 & 65.
